Responsibilities
a) Key Objective / Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the Product Manager for Portals and Service Delivery Platforms, the candidate will project manage all aspects of development and delivery, driving projects forward and managing across multiple inter-related projects and teams to ensure dependencies across all teams are managed, and activities planned accordingly. This role will be seen as a key driving position, working closely with the Product Manager and Architects to take IT a quantum leap forward in delivering services for our customers. The Project Manager will be a self motivated individual driven to create quality product before time and on budget. The PM will bridge both new delivery and operational business as usual activities ensuring new development and business as usual operations run smoothly in a fast developing environment.

The focus of this role is on corporate Portal (customer and employee facing), and service deliver platforms underpinning service delivered through portal,

b) Major Activities
• Project scoping
• Time lines
• Supplier management
• Escalations
• Inter department coordination
• Project status reporting

• Project /Practice Management

Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
Effectively applies corporate SDLC and quality processed and enforces project standards
Manages incorporation of operational issues into project delivery teams.
Minimizes our exposure and risk on project
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately

• Project Accounting

Manages project budget.
Follows up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices.
Analyzes project utilization

Requirements
• Bachelor degree or above
• Certified Prince 2 / PMP / or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years industry experience
• 5+ years on complex projects
• Working experience of multi vendor project delivery
• Ability to understand complex programming constraints on project delivery
• Ability to suggest alternative options and methods to technical teams
• Solid understanding of implications/benefits/risks of technical options suggested for project delivery
• Develop and publish project reports on weekly, fortnightly, monthly basis as required
• Work with project office execution team for corporate reporting
• Manage development activities through SDLC process
• Ability to lead teams in a matrix management environment
• Ability to present and communicate at all levels
• Strong attitude to working with teams to solve cross team dependencies
• Self motivated to quality production
