The Test Automation Team is doing pioneering work in Test Infrastructure and Tools development. We are looking for an experienced and multi-faceted Software Engineer with solid programming skills to help design and develop cutting-edge white-box multi-platform automatic test suites for PGP Desktop and Universal server, as well as a variety of Infrastructure tools ranging from command-line helpers to multi-tier web sites.

Job Responsibilities
Define test approach, architecture
Design, implement and maintain test scripts, harnesses, libraries and tools
Document designs, tests and code
Perform code coverage and static code analysis, suggest measures to improve code coverage of test suites
Perform root-cause failure analysis
Work collaboratively with QA and Development on bug resolution, test approach and coverage

Requirements:
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience in test automation
Experience in unit and API testing
Experience using a scripting language (Python preferred)
Experience writing a non-trivial program in an object-oriented programming language (Java, C# or C++)
User-level, and intermediate-level administration skills on Windows, Linux, OSX
Basic understanding of Encryption
Database concepts and design basics, hands-on SQL skills
Multithreaded programming concepts
Knowledge of IDEâ„¢s: Visual Studio, Eclipse, NetBeans

Desirable:
Experience in tools development and debugging using Java, C#, Python, Perl
Experience in Stress/Load/Performance testing of server and desktop products. Load test harness internals
Web site development using J2EE
Programming in C++ in Linux environment
Experience mentoring more junior engineers
Experience working cross-functionally
ANT
Maven
Perl
BASH
Programming in Scala
Experience using VMware
SOAP and REST basics
LDAP and Directory Server Experience
Understanding of Mail protocols
