RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Description:
Primary responsible to ensure process and procedures are followed as per standard guidelines for Version Control and Configuration Management, Build and Release Management.

Job Duties:
*Environment Maintenance which includes hardware, databases, storage,scripts etc.
*Identify performance bottlenecks and work to improve response time to increase productivity
*Continuous improvement of standards and procedures to save effort
*Coordinating with Clients and external vendors
*Support migration of software applications through entire SDLC; provide functional and technical support
*Develop custom applications for integration, processing and reporting utilizing application APIs, databases etc
*Work closely with internal and external Auditors and Change Management for timely resolution of issues and requests
*Create and test Disaster Recovery and contingency plan
*On time communication to all stake holders on time
*Willingness to do 24X7 Support

Skill Set:
- SCM tools such as ClearCase, CVS, Git, Perforce, PVCS, StarTeam, Subversion, Team Foundation Server, Visual SourceSafe.
- Build management tools such as Ant, Build Forge, Cruise Control, Electric Cloud, Gradle, IncrediBuild, Maven.
- Programming languages such as Java, VB .NET, C#, C/C++, Shell script, Perl.
- Development environments such as Visual Studio, Rational Application Developer.
- RDBMS such as Oracle, DB2, Sql Server.
- File system Samba, CIFS, NFS
- VOB repository - NAS,DAS,SAN
- Issue tracking Tool - Remedy
- Working knowledge of Unix, Linux and Windows
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
